Lee P. Oneacre, DDS
Meet Dr. Oneacre
Dr. Oneacre received his undergraduate degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry (OSU) cum laude where he earned a Mosby scholarship award and membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He then served in the United States Public Health Service on the Navajo Indian Reservation before returning to The Ohio State University Colleges of Dentistry and Medicine to complete a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He served as Chief Resident during his final year of training at the OSU University Hospital and Children’s Medical Center of Columbus.
Dr. Oneacre has served as president of the Dallas County Dental Society, Chairman of Southwest Dental Conference, President of the North Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a Director and Vice-President of the Texas Dental Association (TDA). He currently serves as a delegate in the TDA House of Delegates and is a member of the TDA Council on Legislative and Regulatory Affairs. Dr. Oneacre also serves as a Texas delegate in the American Dental Association (ADA) House of Delegates. He was honored by the Dallas County Dental Society as 2010 Dentist of the Year. He has served aa a trustee of the Southwest Medical Foundation and was a founding and current board member of the Dallas County Dental Society Foundation. He has pariticipated in multiple Texas Mission of Mercy events and works with several area organizations in providing care for the underserved.
Dr. Oneacre is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He has been honored as a Fellow of both the American and International College of Dentists. Additionally, he was nominated as a Super Dentist by his peers in Texas Monthly’s November 2013 issue.
Dr. Oneacre and his wife, Dixie, have three married children, Amanda and Alison, and Mark. They also have five grandchildren.
