W. Richard Patterson, DDS, MS
Dr. Patterson began his higher education studies by earning an Associate of Arts degree at Cerritos College, and then obtained a bachelor of science degree at the University of California Long Beach. He attended Meharry Medical College for his Doctor of Dental Science degree, and the University of Texas Health Science Center for a master of science degree.
After his schooling, Dr. Patterson performed his dental internship at a VA hospital in Houston, TX. At the UT’s Health Science Center, he completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency. Dr. Patterson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has held membership in various local, state, and national organizations such as the ADA and TDA.
Along with his lovely wife Janie, Dr. Patterson has three sons and two grandchildren. Away from the practice, Dr. Patterson enjoys church involvement, including mission trips. He also devotes time to athletics, gardening, and activities with his family.
